Was wondering about Heterotrophy% vs Autotrophy%

Take montipora I heard it can at times be found 100feet under sea level Is this true?

Can a montipora be 90% autotrophy and 10% heterotrophy then become a lower % by increasing nutrition and decreasing light and what kind of adaptability in % can monti adapt providing nutrition was very high?

I am going to hook up a seahorse tank and need it at 75F to reduce bacterial infections and was wondering about keeping a few montiporas at 75F is this possible I'm not too concerned about growth but would like nice colour and a otherwise healthy coral can I do this even know it is not preferred conditions?
